WordPress is a free and open source content management system (CMS).

WordPress can be installed on any domain as a platform to build your website. By using ‘themes’ and ‘plugins’ you can create a sophisticated website that will enhance your business presence online.

Our short, one day training courses will give you an introduction to WordPress and teach you how to install, build and populate your fully responsive website that will work on mobiles, tablets and desktop computers, then be able to update and maintain it. We use simple language and demonstrations so you can easily follow step by step instructions on building your own website. By the end of the course you will have a simple, functioning website that you can build upon from the skills you have learned during the day.

Where do we offer our WordPress training courses?

Training is offered in the lovely town of Clacton-on-Sea, in the pituresque setting of the Toby Carvery which is right on the sea front and offers sea views right on the doorstep. We are within easy reach of London, Colchester and Ipswich. Our courses are held at the Toby Carvery Meeting Room in Martello Bay from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with a choice of a buffet lunch or full carvery from the restaurant – giving you the opportunity to arrive refreshed and also enjoy the surroundings afterwards if you wish.  You can visit the Toby Carvery website here to see what is on offer at the venue.
